Boston, Massachusetts, May 22, 2019 – ClearSky Data, provider of on-demand primary storage with built-in offsite backup and disaster recovery (DR) as a service, announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Courtney Pallotta, VP of Marketing, to its prestigious 2019 Women of the Channel list. The leaders on this annual list are from all areas of the IT channel ecosystem; representing technology suppliers, distributors, solution providers, and other IT organizations. Each is recognized for her contributions to channel advocacy, channel growth and visionary leadership.
CRN editors choose the list from a multitude of channel leadership applicants and select the final honorees based on their professional accomplishments, demonstrated expertise, and ongoing dedication to the IT channel.
Courtney is a marketing professional and entrepreneur with experience in go-to-market strategy, product marketing, demand generation and client advocacy. As a founding Netezza marketing team member, she built the demand generation and client advocacy programs and led these teams from launch through IPO and acquisition by IBM. At IBM, Courtney led two acquisitions, grew the big data and analytics portfolio and launched the marketing of the data science and open source initiative for IBM Analytics. At ClearSky, Courtney leads the marketing team and is focused on digital demand generation, deep client understanding and advocacy as key measures of go-to-market success.
“CRN’s 2019 Women of the Channel list honors influential leaders who are accelerating channel growth through mutually-beneficial partnerships, incredible leadership, strategic vision, and unique contributions in their field,” said Bob Skelley, CEO of The Channel Company. “This accomplished group of leaders is driving channel success and we are proud to honor their achievements.”
“Courtney Pallotta built and launched the ClearSky Data Partner Acceleration Program, which has engaged dozens of VARs and MSPs nationwide. In 2018, ClearSky attained Advanced Partner Status in the AWS Partner Network, announced its partnership with Denver-based cloud solution provider Faction, and secured an important partnership with Equinix,” said Ellen Rubin, CEO and co-founder of ClearSky Data. “The channel is critical to the company’s success, and Courtney’s entrepreneurial mindset, industry expertise and proven track record are vital drivers of our partner strategy.”
The 2019 Women of the Channel list will be featured in the June issue of CRN Magazine and online at www.CRN.com/WOTC.
