AlefEdge is firing at edge computing on all cylinders.
The software company is a member of the Kinetic Edge Alliance and working with the group’s dozen other members to bring edge computing to 30 U.S. metro markets. It also partnered with New Continuum Data Centers in Chicago to deploy its software stack and enable regional operators to offer multi-access edge computing (MEC) applications.
And this week it launched yet another edge strategy that it boldly calls the Manhattan Project. It uses the vendor’s Open5G Platform edge software stack that enables network operators and application providers to plug into the platform and bring applications and services.
