Transformation at the Edge: 3 Things You Need to Know

Posted by Courtney Pallotta on Jul. 28

One of the key factors in efficiently delivering elastic storage for primary, backup and DR data is keeping data close to its users. Enterprises need a single, high-performance, low-latency option, but that doesn’t mean they need everything in the same ever-expanding, increasingly expensive and complex storage pool. Sid is right, as availability of the data, its applications and latency are some of the challenges organizations face when moving to the cloud.

How to Build and Maintain a Hybrid DR Environment (Free Webinar)

Posted by Courtney Pallotta on Jul. 19

For more than a decade, enterprises have turned to secondary data centers to house critical applications that can be accessed in the event of an outage or disaster. However, this approach comes with never-ending headaches for already resource-strapped IT teams. It’s a struggle to keep up with the costly, ongoing maintenance that secondary data centers require – especially as budgets continue to shrink. We all know there must be a better way.

Containers Won’t Take Off Until We Answer the Storage Question

Posted by Laz Vekiarides on Jul. 17

There are two things that have stayed consistent between the container conversations I had back in 2013 and the ones I hear today: containers still aren’t ready for widespread enterprise use, and the industry is still wildly excited any time a container conversation pops up.
